Thinking B4 - Continued

On an update, this past weekend really sucked. BUT, true to the first post, it will not be allowed to determine this week or weekend. My point is to keep it real. I only noticed one time so far that I said stuff before thinking. However, other stuff has been cropping up, distracting me from my committment. Why is it that I allow my focus to change? It is a subtle thing. I thank my God that He said that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I believe that. Weapons are there, seeking my destruction. Some even get a hit (like this weekend), but none will succeed. I will do what I know to do. Moms in general seem to be held on a pedestal in some areas, but who is really praying for moms? Everyone thanks their mom, appreciates all she does and lets that be known. But who is standing in the gap? Who intercedes for your momma? Maybe you're like, where is she going with this? Man, it is hard to hold it together, but like he said, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. What I'm saying is, I just need an armor bearer sometimes, for real.

This is a problem. I'm talking about bands that come out slicing, then break up. All the members I checked out so far on this site are artists, yall got cds out and all that. (I play the keyboard up in church, but that aint my deal.) I'm over in Oklahoma. We got super awesome talent in this state. I love local stuff. It's raw and real. So when I try to check up and get the next cuts, they're like, well, we're doing this now, that guy is doing his own thing. I'm all for moving up, but sometimes, when something is working, stick with it for awhile.

Okay, so my thing is now, to effectively think before I speak. Over in Numbers, God said he was gonna give you what you say, bad or not. Well, I knew that, but lately, it's been slippin. Sometimes the full armor seems like a suit that's too big. I'm constantly adjusting and holding up stuff while something else slips off. It takes alot of hands sometimes. When you get, like, your faith at the level it needs to be, you gotta adjust your love. When your salvation fits like it should, the righteousness needs velcro. Thinkin before speakin. Makin sure I say what should be in my heart instead of letting the jacked up stuff spill out and jack up my life.

I guess I kinda feel special writing this first-blog-of-my-life. Most people, I've found, just gripe on theirs. Hopefully, my stuff won't be depressing like that to anyone. Just faith-filled. Just real. Like the old Grapetree establishment motto--true to the Lord, true to the streets.
