April 28th 2012, now being dubbed “Invasion Day”, has been causing quite a stir not only in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago but along the Caribbean chain of islands, and things will definitely heat up as the weeks go by.
Scheduled to capture the audience with his gift for musical storytelling, is the bold, unique sound of Mali Music and his full band. Mali (Kortney Pollard) was the first inspirational artiste selected to be a part of BET’s critically-acclaimed Music Matters Program and was one of the performer’s at the 2011 BET Awards but his on-stage presence left a lasting impression to the fact that we can expect lots more in 2012 from Mali Music. However, Mali Music is but one of the four international artistes booked as part of the cast, and adding to the already power packed show are some of Trinidad & Tobago’s finest Gospel artistes.
