Da-Sciple

The name is Da-Sciple, a servant..student and follower of Jesus Christ. I was formerly known as Voodoo back in the day when I used to do secular rap, just talking nonsense and seeking glory for myself. Things have definitely changed since then. Jesus comes first in my life now, I am using what was once used for Satan now to glorify God. Now just imagine I quit rapping back in 2007 and I never gave any thought to rapping again, especially about Christ, then I met Josh Daley in my Sunday School class in 2009. Ryan Christopher's message was about how we all need to get involved in our own Ministries. Now I was a Christian, I believed in God, went to church every week, but I was just going through the motions.. not involved. He used Josh as an example how he was starting to venture into Christian Rap. I just had to talk to Josh afterwards, I knew that Ryan was speaking right to me even though he had no idea! After talking to Josh we decided we needed to do some songs together. So in January 2010 I had become a Christian Rapper, not even knowing of any other Christian rappers at the time besides Josh and not realizing how big it was. Me and Josh started working on a few songs and then I eventually started doing solo stuff, I actually recorded 9 songs at a studio through the year 2010 and decided it wasn't good enough for God and I found a new studio, Cole Mize Studios. Hooking up with Cole in 2011, We started fresh, completely redid all of my songs and added a few more. My album "New Beginning" will be available this April 2012, my first single off the CD "But God" is available for Free Download right now. My first contact in Christian Rap, Josh aka Tha Apostle will be on one of my songs, along with a few other features. Just excited for what God has planned and pray for continued guidance in God's will for my ministry. No matter where it takes me or what recognition I may receive, All Glory to God!
