Fort Worth native Kinfolk D-Ray continues to minister to the urban community in the DFW area with street mix-tapes and serving at his local church. When not doing solo work he is a vital member of the Hip-Hop group D'Termined and also produces and manages up and coming local talent. Kinfolk has released one album "Born in Captivity" (2006) and has released several mix-tapes and is currently working on a new album slated for release in the beginning of 2012. Kinfolk D-Ray's music is mainly testimonial and is geared towards the urban youth. Kinfolk's aim is to get the youth to think about the choices in life that will lead them to success rather than a quick deal in the streets.
