Joshua "SKKY" Walker born in Hartford Connecticut and raised in Orlando FL. His parents were never big church goers during is life. He only new Jesus because of his God fearing grandparents. He grew a love for worship music listening to his grandma sing in choir. When he was 12 years old his mom and dad decided to move to Orlando FL for a better way of life. In Orlando he began rapping in middle school but the separation from grandparents meant little guidance toward God. After barely graduating High school he looked to leave his poor neighbor hood and grow up so he enlisted in the Army. During his tour in Baghdad Iraq he heard the call of Jesus and got saved. Once he got back the weight of the losses in war and transitioning back to the world burdened him. In his depression he drank a lot.He looked to finish his term and pursue his dream realizing that the military life no longer made him happy. God was letting him know that it was time to do what he was put on earth for. Now enrolled in a top school for audio engineering he continues to chase Gods promise to him. He uses the very things that torments the world in his music to raise awareness. Learning everyday that God conquers all barriers.
