Witness

Hector Dominguez a.k.a Witness is a 24-year-old Chicago Emcee, hailing from the Humboldt Park Area, determined to make a difference in the city. Youth Pastor by day and Gospel Rapper by night, he brings a different sound to CHH. From an early age he has been surrounded by music, but it wasn't until the age of 21, with accepting the Lord (True Repentance/Reconciliation) on a missions trip to Puerto Rico, that he decided to glorify the Lord with his Talents. A College graduate with a degree in Youth Development and a Minor in Biblical Studies, this seasoned Emcee holds no punches when delivering the gospel on and off the stage. Witness has ministered along side many different artist/ministers including Amberlea Fraser, JonCarlos Velez, The Trans4mers, Tru-Server, Baltimore, Endoxos, Dijon, Hour to Hope, Nick Foulks, M.I.A.3, Clarence 'Jedi' Evans, Hostyle Gospel, Lyve Martyr, Ron Rezon, Scroll the Prophet Son, Decipher, Shahcah, Lecrae, Messenjah, Stellar Kart and many more. It has been through these different platforms that the doors have opened to minister in such places as Club 3 Degrees (a Christian Club based in Minneapolis, MN), numerous churches, youth groups, city outreaches, community festivals, & many other venues. He has a burden for the different neighborhoods across America and it was through that burden that HOODHOPE Ministries (a non-profit organization to help fundraise for those in need) was born. HOODHOPE has raised money for different churches and ministries across the Chicago-Land Area, "...it is the reason I rap," says Witness "...we [HOODHOPE Members] all came from different ghettos where hope was absent. Without Hope there is no faith and without faith there is no room for Christ". Recently finishing his 3rd Mixtape, “Hello My Name is Witness” Witness leads by example. He stresses that the Altar is not a Stage and if it is not going to be used to minister the gospel clearly and without compromise then it is best for it to not be used at all. Witness (Father, Husband, Deacon, Youth Pastor, and Man of God) has a passion for the Youth and is using the gifts the Lord gave him to give something back to the community as well as offer his heart to those in need. With his gifts, talents, and abilities, he hopes to be an example for the Youth while still learning and growing in his relationship with the Lord.
