I came across this cd by accident and I am so glad I did. I praise God for creative, interesting, truth speaking music! I love how it began with the preacher. I loved the flow of the cd. I even loved the preacher at the end whom I will be looking up later to hear more of. I loved the beats. I loved dwayne tryumf, lecrae and all the guest artist were great who i will be looking up as well. Most of all I love how Christ is glorified all up and down this cd and that this cd is REAl Talk. Sometimes u need to hear how we do have a standard we should be living by just like we need to hear about the love of God and everything else the Bible teaches. I am growing in my faith and this cd caused me to think about the way I'm living and get in my word more to check out some of the things he talked about and. Loved it! Very enjoyable! - Tacara

jay, i agree that some of the message in this cd is biblical and pertains to genuine conversion. What I spoke to is the unbiblical portion, which other reviewers have commented on as well. He goes so far as to say that JEsus and thus God does not love everyone, his understanding of hamartiology is off. He also begins "i got saved" off by sayin "no i dont pay my tithes but i know that im still gon' rise" of course that being to the sarcastic tune of the song. What this suggests is that if a person doesn't pay their tithes they won't go to heaven; is katalyst a roman catholic? I met katalyst, he's a very nice guy, but his theology is just a tad bit off; one must find balance in understanding God's wrath and His grace. There's a correct way to convey the doctrines of regeneration and progressive santification, Katalyst simply misses the mark here.

I see where you're coming from but I think the message of the cd is true and biblical in stating that true faith in christ will result in a changed live that bears fruit (repentance, growth) over time. - jay nice

I thought katalyst actually abuses and misundertands the doctrine of repentance and sanctification to dangerous levels. I unerstand what campe he's coming from; emphasizing the predominate occasion of false conversions and fake professions, but something I came to realize as I was once on this bent, is that Jesus said don't try to pull up the tares, you may uproot some wheat. We can be on our guard and make sure we accurately preach the gospel, but we can't attempt to tease and draw out those who we think are deluding themselves because they don't measure up in our eyes, it's simply not that easy and we don't have the ability to judge accurately in all instances. - veritaslogos

If you put any of the songs on Audacity the songs will become very strange...also nero does not support the audio file even though it is a Mp3 file. - Lamore Church

I don't know what to say. I appreciate it. I am humbled to know that someone would listen to my stuff let alone buy it. I really hope that Christ above gets glory and trust me, I see a ton of things that I would do differently with the next one. Thanks so much guys. Don't know what else to say. - Katalyst

I bought this on iTunes after I heard "I Got Proof" on Wade-O's show (usually don't buy off of just one song). I was really impressed. I'm digging the Chi flow he displays, as well as the production on most of the tracks. I honestly did have to listen a few times to fully get deep into the album, but it is very solid. My favorites: Come Back Home, Death By Design, and I'm Talking About You (slaps you in the face, in a great way). I really like the cd (except for the 2 below). This is a really solid debut bro!

It's a really good album. A good blend between bangers and strong message songs. Katalyst provide great lyrics with solid delivery. Had some slow points but overall a better album than most. Watch out for him in the furture! - Bryce B
