This will only happen through faith and efforts in not only pointing specifics out, but by moving through our actions with boldness as peacemakers to make a portion of this dream happen. Through our talents, maybe through the music we produce, maybe through the articles we write, maybe through trying to stand united rather than a divided people; this has been a dream. Many great leaders in the past have pushed for this, because of the ignorance of mankind these leaders have been killed, or their credibility destroyed by nothing other than hate. Hate is a path of destruction that has ruled much of this nation, giving birth to pride and prejudice, racism and descrimination of all kinds. All running down the same road that only takes us backwards. This year we must remind ourselves is it worth bringing racism and descrimination to the political table. We have a black man and a white woman as front running canidates. In my belief, the questions are, "Will we bring up the fact that a blackman is a canidate and use color of skin as an issue to get this canidate in office? Will we go so far and use an excuse that if this worthy canidate is not elected, it is because of racism?". "Will we use prejudice to throw more stones of hate spawned from ignorance to say that a Woman cannot be president because it may make the United States appear as weak.' At the same time if she is not elected will we then say only a man can do the job; because of an ignorant idea that a woman cannot be president, because this country will appear weak in the eyes of man?" This is division, and all we can do is express our self through the freedom we all were suppose to have, yet because of pride and hate which defines all of the words that cause a seemingly divided nation which seems to have become more dictated that free. Through the hell we have been through and seen let us act by faith. And when I say faith I will give an example, when we turn the water faucet on in the morning it takes faith to expect the water to come out, "right"? For instance the companies that supply our water could've of been shut down and nothing come out. Therefore even if we didn't realize it took faith to turn the faucet on and water come out, faith was the hand that made it happen. The concept is faith and putting it to work through our actions. So let us take our faith and put it to work through our talents; the music we produce, the writings we write, the movies we make, the love that we are to give and respect through many venues. Let us not look down upon anyone because of physical appearance, let us take what we have and make the dream happen, and maybe if we do this at least a portion of the dream will happen.
