Lifest 2009, along with other major festivals in the nationwide Christian Festival
Association, participated in a national talent search competition for the second year in a row. Twenty-
four (24) finalists were selected to perform and compete at Lifest 2009, held July 8-12 in Oshkosh, WI.
The competitions were conducted online initially, and ended at Lifest in a live competition among the
finalists. Twenty (20) artists were chosen by online voting and four (4) artists were chosen by Life!
