Jahaziel Films a Short Ident with BET UK

Jahaziel has recently filmed a short ident with BET UK. This is the beginning of a number of projects BET Networks has lined with the MOBO Award winning rapper. Incorporating with the BET brand tag line ‘It’s My Thing’, Jahaziel shares his heart, his life and his love for God. The ident is an awesome opportunity to share the love of God through a man who does not compromise in his faith. He also showcases the increasing development in UK Gospel Music.
 
Syntax Records partners with Ahmad

Best known for his 1994 hit "Back in the Day" and fronting the genre-busting band 4th Avenue Jones, hip-hop legend Ahmad joins the Syntax Records family. This also marks the launch of Ahmad's label, WE C.L.A.P., which stands for "We Change Lives, Attitudes & Perceptions". The San Diego-based Syntax and the rapper from South Central Los Angeles fuse together to launch a new chapter in this West Coast story.

Christian music’s largest annual musical tour, The Winter Jam 2009 Tour Spectacular, for the first time ever, has an official theme song.  Hip-Hop Worship pioneer, Rawsrvnt (pronounced “raw servant”) was commissioned to create an arena anthem especially for the tour.

Population of Invisible People” is the National debut album from veteran hip-hop super-group, Carnival coming straight out of Youngstown, OH.  Carnival has been together for 15+ years as a group and has seen many changes in their lives personally as well as spiritually in that time.  Carnival grew up listening to all styles of music from rock, hip-hop/rap, soul etc.  Our first Christian rap album was Michael Peace then we got T-Bone, Nuwine and Lil Raskull who took it to a whole new level.

The Official Braille and S1 "CloudNineteen" Tour

On February 25th Braille and S1 will be embarking on a month long tour visiting cities in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.  The duo will be celebrating their new record "CloudNineteen" and also putting their mission statement into action.  Over the course of 30 days they will be performing at an eclectic line up of venues and facilities.  One thing that makes this tour so unique is that the majority of the shows are free and catered towards an all ages audience.  Another bonus of the tour is that Braille and S1 will be handing out free copies of their new album "CloudNineteen" to everyone in attendance at their shows.

Believin Stephen's new free project called The Perseverance Mixtape will be released on Rapzilla on February 17, 2009. This "mixtape" is actually more like a full free album (all exclusives) with 19 tracks on it including plenty of conceptual songs dealing with the topic of perseverance. Hip-hop fans will be pleased with the beats on this project as they have a gritty east coast underground vibe.
