I produced "You Don't Want Me" & "In the Studio" I am confirming that these are both the same beat.

I made a mistake and have already apologized to Lil Prophet about it.

Before selling the "exclusive rights" to Lil Prophet, I had shopped the beat to Json. He liked it, but passed up on using it initially.

I then proceeded to shop it to other artist. Lil Prophet liked the beat and agreed to purchase the exclusive rights. So I sold him the beat and sent him the multitracks last year before Json's album came out(this is why his version has live guitars and other elements that Json's version doesn't have).

Json hit me up one day on the phone and asked if he could use one beat that I shopped him as an interlude and 1 beat for a contest he was doing. I didn't think much of it and said sure. However, I made the mistake of not checking my records to make sure that the beat was still available. This is why Json's version isn't mixed b/c I only gave him a 1 minute snippet of the beat.

He released his version in June of 08. Lil Prophet meanwhile was working on the song and was getting it ready for his "Versatile" album which just dropped.

Once again, I have already apologized to Lil Prophet privately for the mix up. I am also apologizing publically to him for allowing this to happen. Here on, I am promising to do a better job at keeping up with my records. Also, I have proposed to him a deal to make up for the mix up.

woah, calm down sdk, this isn't the place to be getting in arguments with people. if dude ain't feeling the track, then he's just not feeling it, not everybody's gonna like the same thing. imo, the song does sound too much like json's song for my taste, i thought i had heard the beat somewhere b4 and it does sound almost exactly like "the studio." the delivery and lyrics were pretty good, but i didn't like that the beat was previously used.
