T-Bone received a GRAMMY Award nomination yesterday in the category of Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album for his Sept. 2005 release, Bone-A-Fide. This is his second career nomination in the category.

“Ever since my 2001 nomination for Tha Last Street Preacha, I’ve been eager for a second chance at GRAMMY fame. I owe a lot to my fans as well as to the all-star team that was on board for this record. Thanks also to The Recording Academy for this nomination”

The 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. For more information, visit www.grammy.com.

The number one-selling gospel rap artist, T-Bone began his career in the early 1990s as a founding member of gospel music’s elite rap contingency. In addition to garnering numerous awards, he has rocked the mic alongside righteous artists from KRS-One to Yolanda Adams as well as given standout performances in the feature film and soundtrack “The Fighting Temptations” (with Beyoncé and Cuba Gooding, JR.). His most recent acting project was the MTV Films/Paramount Pictures feature “Rumble,” starring hot R&B artist Ciara. T-Bone’s other collaborations include an appearance on Tobymac’s cut “The Slam” for “The Transporter II” and on albums by Virtue as well as NBA All-Star Ron Artest. He can be seen regularly as host for TV music programs “TX-10” (Dish Network) and “Real Videos” (TBN), the No. 1 youth show worldwide.
