APX moves from music to mentorship |

APX, a Los Angeles Christian hip hop artist, has taken his music ministry to another dimension by opening a community based, faith driven mentoring organization in Hawthorne, CA.
The organization is called APX MENTORING and is a 501 (C) 3 Non-profit organization geared toward reaching the youth of Lawndale and Hawthorne. The organization’s mission is to “to encourage a mentoring lifestyle between caring adults and youth through relationship building opportunities such as educational tutoring, life skills development, career counseling, and spiritual growth.”
APX is excited about the great things that are currently taking place. Community leaders and local business’s are eager to assist in mentoring young people and giving them an opportunity to grow as a person and good citizen. Local public schools have expressed interest as well, in partnering with APX MENTORING to reach the youth.
Programs offered are after school tutoring, in school intervention mentoring, family building time, spiritual formation, which include community service and mission trips.
