I am a Christian and a native who also practices my Lakota spiritually, and has two tattoos. The negative sterotype about tattoos is more of a western thinking issue. God cares about how one lives and what is in the heart, not on their skin. That is the difference between religion and spiritually. In my opinion the song and video is great!

You guys need to get a grip. You should try talking to RedCloud and see what his heart is. I was out to eat with him and his tattoos got someone to talk to him and he was able to tell them about God some. God bless his heart for ministry and his honesty in his music. Maybe if some of your favorite artists would do that they'd actually have fans outside of the local youth group.

wow redcloud this song is amazing i praticaly no the word ive listend to it that much. and anyway if he got tatts b4 he was a christian its ok but i guess is its the worst thing that you could do. and at least the tatts are things to do with jesus and the bible

After watching this video, I had to shake my head at what the youth have to see. Red Cloud, its good that you made the change for life, but getting a tattoo is defying what GOD states in the bible about marking our bodies. Syntax is just a name that dosen't have any meaning, but Christ is everything! Red Cloud I hope that you seperate yourself from your past and continue to grow by reading the word, learning the word, and finally living the word. God Bless you!

i dont think Syntax needed publicity... i think RedCloud is showing his loyalty to his family. Hes been on Syntax for like a decade. You dont have to agree with tattoos... dont get one if you dont.
This is the greatest album ive ever heard... period. I would love to see someone attempt to top it.
