This is basically a song about how God bless them with a record deal without specifically saying God did it. Now that they are blessed with that, they want to share it with other people which is in the action of the song "Taking it to the Streets". Throughout the Washington Projects CD "Commanders of the Resistance" they base their lyrics with God and relevant chapters in their lives. This song brings a raw and rugged flow that clings to the ear of people who are not saved and makes them draw into the music which leads them to Christ. The trick is to think that this is not Christian music to draw the sinner in because christian music is "not hot" enough to them to draw them in. This song is aiming at the young people(like me) to enjoy and state that you can chase your dreams no matter what and share what God has given you. Take it to the Streets Baby!!!

This is the foolishness of "The Church" I'm always talkin bout. God did not call us as christians to be bland, or to be so extremely serious all the time. In real life we all have fun, we all play sports, or have hobbies, and when we are doing these things no one would say "Oh man this is not of God" I can't believe you'd actually play basketball, even though it's not glorifying God at all. It's so extremely silly to judge people the way some of you so called Christians do. It's really immature and shows how much you know about Gods Word. This Group is insanely spiritual, everything they represent is Godly and can be found in the Bible in some way or another. If it makes you uncomfortable because you only like to listen to the Genre called "Worship Music" Than more power to you, we are all entitled to our own opinions and vibes, diversity is what makes the world so beautiful. But when you write negative comments about a group like this just because you have such a closed mind, it just shows and proves that you and others with the same mindset are what is in many cases hindering people who are lost in the world to coming to christ. Stop being such Hypocrites. In my opinion it's actually hurting the mission of Christ. This groups record touches real topics that everyone is dealing with, they don't butter it up. They did the same thing as Souljahz, the only difference now is that they are 100 times more appealing and their production is Blessed to say the least. They have proclaimed how they are not a worship band but yet people still can't get the picture that Christians are allowed to talk about "Life", Goodness - READ THE BIBLE PEOPLE. I pray one day God changes this industry because this mindset is what has always given "Holy" Hip Hop a bad name, and the lack of support shown for a great group who has all the potential in the world is why it's taking so long for a Hip Hop or Urban group to take the spotlight in the World alongside Kanye, Jay-Z, etc, while representing Christ, like P.O.D. and Switchfoot have done throughout the rock arena. It's truely Sad. We gotta grow up people.

I'm not sure what to feel I know as a Christian Rapper myself I would not do something thats so questionable I mean I just dont get whats the cops about I understand sometimes you want to make good music and if you been around for years you got the right to that on some vetran status but this is the only song I ever heard from them and I would not think they were about Jesus based on this but the beat concept lyrics are deceant and shorty can sing but wheres Jesus in these last days amen

He says "that chick is dangerous..." This group is awesome and have great music, what you are basically saying is Christians have to have Jesus in them to be good. I'm sick of all this Christian Hip Hop talk having to have spiritual content all the time. Can we just leave that on the side and not comment on this ALL THE TIME? Please. Read the article here on HHH's Civil War, really good.

Being an MC myself, I would never spit something like this. HOWEVER! I see where they're going. This is not a Christian Rap song, it is Postive. Although Christ's name wasn't mentioned, I didn't hear cussing or explicit lyrics.

It was a party song and thats it. It was a banga and thats it. NO deep content, but what if other tracks on their album are Christ centered and this is just the bait?

Think about it. I'm not one to judge them, there wasn't anything sinful about this.

This music video is no different then the world's music. Take it off.
They have a girl dancing with short shorts who cant sing. The guy is singing about his fame. What about Christ. I dont get the part where he talks about bring the cops and "get some butta with that bread, coffee with that creme"? That doesn't make sense. Who are they???

I Think this video is super great. This is a single about overcoming through trails and test. This song shows how they have been through so much and bringing that message of long suffering to the streets. Their first from the Souljahz album was "All Around The World" which was "positive". This single is consistent with their type of music. Bringing the Gospel through creative, fun and thought provoking music. !!! I like this song and the upcoming album!!!
