You are right on! Downloading and burning cd's is illegal. Plain and simple. No excuses. These cats arent makin much to begin with, and it doesnt help when we stealin from em! I used to burn cd's, but then I read Gods word and repented and tossed all my burnt cds. Keep supportin and buy cd's!

Lecrae's album came out in 2006 so he would not be in this nomination. Before The Doves can respect Christian Hip Hop we need more than 2 labels selling records. There is still an underground presence in this movement and we have to encourage others to buy records and not just download them.

I people trying to preach the word through music should support one another, and even though I may not agree with the nominations, I don't care who gets these awards bacause my boys from CMR, Reach Records, and Arrow Records WON'T STOP BRINGIN IT. (Check out CAJO's "Kingdom Business" Track 04)

I totally agree with Will of God, it just seems like these committee members only enjoy the music that speaks God's word the least. I mean isn't preaching God's word what its all about!!

Am I wrong here? The industry will never reach it's potential if the awards go to those who spit the least of God's word.

This award should have been called "most watered down song of the year"

I don't know why the Dove Awards Committee has such a problem with rappers that spit 100 percent truth. i.e. Lecrae, Flame

They prefer to go with those with watered down lyrics.

This is so wack.. the industry is so bias. they nominate the cats you don't sell any records don't hardly have good content and their albums are completely dumbed down... Group 1 Crew is pop with a little bit of everything. But What About DA Truth, Lecrae, Flame, I Mean there are many others that deserve a Nomination

I'm Praying for you should Definitely Best Rap Song of The Year By Lecrae, but it ain't even nominated...they need some new committee members of the Dove Awards cause this committee sucks... plain and simple...
