Rockwilder, the production point man behind some of Hip Hop and R&B's most successful artists,' recently chatted with DJ Wade-O and the Wade-O Radio Show in Rockwilder's first Christian Radio interview since announcing his decision to rap the Gospel. With his mind focused, now, on producing an album comparable to an "ill Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg Christian album," Rockwilder is on a mission and "feel[s] good going back to [his] Christian roots." Proclaiming his testimony and reason for the shift in his career along with long time friend Whuteva, who also left the secular industry to release a Gospel album, Rockwilder speaks on the next endeavors of his business into the extreme sports arena and his thoughts on the HHH community.

Visit myspace.com/wadeoradio to hear the full interview on Wade–O Radio's 60th episode.

This is my worst fear for Holy hip-hop
written by JW, May 11, 2008
My worst fear with Christian hip-hop is that you are going to have all of these secular rappers coming into the industry and watering down the gospel. If these secular rappers have been truly transformed and truly accepted Christ, then it is cool to make a Christian Album. However, we don't need any more Secular "Christians" making that one song about God and the rest of the songs on their album about glorifying sin, pride and material things. Lord please have mercy on us, please don't allow this beautiful music you created for us to get watered down by secular "Christians"

an "ill Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg Christian album"?!!!!

awwwww man...please tell these secular producers and rappers to first get saved, join a church, get on the frontline for Jesus, THEN...you can do your Christian rap thing....we don't need secular rappers and secular producers in the Christian rap ministry....All you do is harm the credibility of the Christian rap ministry...I'm sorry but all of a sudden secular rap and hip-hop can't make money anymore, NOW it's time to come over to the other (God's)side? Gimme a break...yeah I said it!!!! Just call me a Pentacostal legalist, I guess...

Don't get me wrong...I believe in forgiveness and grace, but who's next? DMX? Rockwilder? Timbaland? Nas? Jay-Z? Public Enemy? Lil' Kim? Sounds like a twisted agenda (money thing) to me.

Slow down guys...God is the standard here..
