Magellan

It all started in the summer of 1995 when a young couple getting married asked Magellan and two other teenagers at the time to compose and perform a christian hip hop song at their reception. On the day of this celebration of unity, he and his friends had done so well that they decided to start a Christian Hip Hop ministry called ADF(All Different Flavas). From then on ADF ministered in rap and had the oppurtunity to travel and change lives all over the U.S., Bahamas, Jamaica and more. Some of Magellans greatest experiences were ministering in prisons such as Arthur Kill, Rikers, Spofford Delaware Youth Corrections etc. One of the murderers of the Wendy's massacre in Queens, NY gave their lives to the Lord as a result of a Hip Hop concert Magellan was a part of in a Brooklyn, Correctional facility. In the spring of 2004, after almost a decade of ministry as a group Magellan and his team decided to venture out and become solo mc\'s for the Lord. In that same year Magellan took a hard blow to his ministry, when the Pastor of his former church committed adultery. His church was devastated but Magellan was determined to keep his trust in the Lord and search for a new church home. In the summer of 2004, he began attending Christ Tabernacle in Glendale, NY where immediatley him and his wife were we\'re drawn by the prescence and Love of God that was so evidently displayed. In the spring of 2006 Magellan became a member of Christ Tabernacle, joined the Youth Explosion Team and released his first solo album HIV(Healing Injected Verses) which Hit Single "Bounce" held the #1 spot on www.rapzilla.com for 1 week.Then with a passion to teach youth about the importance of having a relationship with God Magellan dropped his second album "No Religion" in March 2008. Magellan has never been so busy and blessed, in response to the sound and content of this album he is getting requests to minister in churches across the U.S. And Eventually abroad.
