Grits: What’s next for the legendary Christian hip-hop group?

Grits-member Coffee caught Rapzilla up on what’s next for the Grammy-nominated, Dove-winning hip-hop duo at the 2015 Dove Awards.

Grits, which released its last project Quarantine in Aug. 2010, plans to drop multiple new singles and an EP soon, Coffee said. He added that their new music will feature at least a couple of other Christian hip-hop pioneers.

“We got Mars Ill, Manchild featured on the project. We got the Gospel Gangstaz,” Coffee said. “We’re going back to our era and showing them that we’re still relevant, how they’re still relevant and how we’re putting it down. No knock to the young cats, but yo, the OGs is in the building.”
