Tony Tillman on his hometown Camden celebrating his album ‘Camden’

Camden, Arkansas native Tony Tillman, an artist signed to Reflection Music Group, named his latest album after his hometown, which he said his hometown appreciated.

“People have been excited, and people feel proud about something,” Tillman told Rapzilla. “On my personal Facebook page, I’ll see a lot of the friends that I have from Camden that have reposted the song ‘CMDN’ with Tragic Hero and Deraj, and were like, ‘This is our anthem.'”

Tillman released Camden in August 2015, after which he returned to perform at a packed concert. He was also enlisted for another task.

“I went home. They had me all in the locker room with the football players; wanted me to give a motivational speech to them. It was crazy, man,” Tillman said. “It was funny because that’s the town that I caused so much trouble in, and now I get to go back and provide some healing and comfort.”

Watch Tillman’s interview about Camden’s reaction to Camden, as well as his songs “Shadows” and “Praying For You” from the album, below.
