Joseph Prielozny experienced an abundance of success over his seven years working for Reach Records before Word Entertainment hired him, but asked on the spot about his most memorable moment with the label, the first thing that popped into his head was a prank on GAWVI.
“[GAWVI] hates spiders,” the Grammy Award-winning producer told Rapzilla at SXSW 2016.
On a trip with GAWVI, Dirty Rice and Jacob “Biz” Morris to find inspiration in the woods, Prielozny said one of the multiple pranks pulled involved a spider, bag of chips and basketball game.
“I loved working at Reach Records,” Prielozny said. “I love Ben Washer. I love Lecrae. I love what they’re doing. … Man, so many good memories. But yeah, for some reason that was the first one that popped in my mind.”
