Fedel Announces Album and EP; ‘Jabbin & Dabbin’ as Thunder Anthem

Christian rapper Fedel spoke to Rapzilla at SXSW about topics varying from new music to his song “Jabbin and Dabbin.”

Fedel said this is the year where he’s dropping song almost every month because that’s what the fans are demanding. “Putting out music consistently, that’s my thing.”

His newest track is “Lit,” and he also finished a campaign where he spoke to thousands of students while touring.

“I’m actually working on an EP and an album,” admitted Fedel.

His song “Jabbin and Dabbin” took on a life of its own and has been exposed to countless people.

He then explained how “Jabbin and Dabbin” took off.

Fedel said he met the director of entertainment for the Oklahoma City Thunder which wasn’t a big deal. However, somehow, he came across the track “Jabbin and Dabbin” and then asked Fedel if he could use it for Thunder games.

Now, the song gets used at home games. “It was definitely for me, a huge encouragement.”
