In that post you can watch a video by current_ tv that was done prior to Citizen Aim's death, that documents some of his story including Cystic Fibrosis, the genetic disease he battled.
GemStones (aka Gemini), for those not familiar, gained popularity in the music industry as he came up through the ranks on Lupe Fiasco's imprint label 1st and 15th Entertainment. GemStones was featured on a few songs on each of Lupe Fiasco's hit albums 'Food & Liquor', and 'The Cool'. GemStones utilized the platform that he and Lupe built, and released his single "We On" feat. Lupe Fiasco & Pooh Bear. The song garnered a huge buzz.

The general market MC has covered Christian themes and topics in his raps before, having co-authored Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" (which won a Grammy in 2005), so we thought we’d track him down and pursue a longer conversation about his faith, his motivation behind writing “Prosperity,” and his experience with Christian hip hop.
