This past week, several white millennials told Rapzilla that songs and social media posts by Christian hip-hop artists have changed the way they see race. These testimonies come as Americans continue to grieve the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile, two black men whose fatal shootings by police this month were videotaped and circulated online.

If an artist has had two official albums released, that would be referred to as their sophomore album. So an artist that has released several mixtapes and been a feature on other albums, yet only released 1 official album, is a freshman by definition, not talent.
