Music: Eshon Burgundy, Ezekiel, & J. Monty – American I Live

Eshon Burgundy, Ezekiel, and J. Monty joined forces on the track “American I Live” to tackle the issue of police brutality against African Americans over DJ Khaled’s “Holy Key.”

The three emcees spit passionate and heartfelt bars that express the struggle they and fellow black Americans are going through.

This song was released after the most recent incident in Charlotte, NC of Keith Lamont being shot. It also contains a sample of the “shots fired” call over the radio for Terence Crutcher.
