North Carolina-based artist Dre3Times released his latest single “Soldier,” featuring and produced by D. Thomas.
“This song describes the pain and hurt I endured as a child with having dark skin and how I overcame my insecurities with love and prayer.” Dre said. “This song was written to encourage the listener to be comfortable with who God created them to be. I had suicidal thoughts when I was younger based off how my peers made me feel and didn’t realize how deep-rooted my pain was until I wrote this song.”
This song is from Dre3Times’ upcoming EP entitled Wretch Proof dropping Jan. 15.
