WHATUPRG Releases New Single ‘Glow’, on Reach Records?

Hip-Hop artist WHATUPRG continued Tribe week 2.0 with the release of his single “Glow,” and one of the speculations we made about RG a few months ago seems to be true.

A few months ago Reach Records dropped a song called “Light Work,” featuring 116 – Lecrae, 1K Phew, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Andy Mineo, and a surprise cameo from WHATURG and CASS. Here’s what we speculated:

WHATUPRG is from the indie.tribe collective along with nobigdyl., Mogli the Iceburg, and Jarry Manna. He teamed up with them recently, so what’s he doing here? The easy answer would be, “He is a collaboration machine.” Sure, that works, except, this is a 116 song. Also, Lecrae raps, “the whole squad here but you figured that.” Is he stating this is the new squad?

Well, wouldn’t you know, when you go to the new song “Glow” on the Spotify stream, on the bottom, it says the song was put out by Reach Records. In addition, if you look real close, there’s a Reach Records logo in the artwork. (Comment when you find it). So, he indeed could be part of the squad. Plus nobigdyl. just signed to Capitol CMG. Our guess would be, wait until the morning to see something official. For now, enjoy the new song below.
