S.O.C.O.M. (Soldier Of Christ On a Mission) has been in the studio from Korea to Belgium working hard on his junior project Kingdom Music. A 2008 Stellar Award Nominee for his appearance on Gospel Skate Jams Volume 2 and 2007 Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Award Nominee in 3 categories, S.O.C.O.M.. Best known for his chart topping song Take It To The Churchfloor and collaboration with gospel veteran Tonex on Awesome God S.O.C.O.M. is ready to raise the bar once again. While serving on active duty in the military, S.O.C.O.M. has took a small hiatus. He has been stationed in Korea in 2008 and has recently been reassigned to Belgium. While in Korea, S.O.C.O.M. started the first Gospel Hip Hop Festival to take place for Korea and the military community at Camp Casey. Now in Belgium, S.O.C.O.M. will be opening a Christian Club for the teens to give them an outlet from the negative options of drinking, smoking and listening to destructive music. I believe God is using me to travel the world to spread His message and bring hope to the people that have not heard the gospel. You would be surprised how many people have changed their lives and now have a collection of Christian Hip Hop music rather than the secular music they had before. More importantly the message of Jesus Christ has been spread and has impacted many lives as well, says S.O.C.O.M..
While Double Edge Sword Records revamps for 2009, S.O.C.O.M. will be releasing this Kingdom Music independently. S.O.C.O.M. has proven to be one of the forerunners in Christian Hip Hop by his dedication to God, aspect of excellence and hustle mentality. The same way we used to hustle and grind before we came to God, should be the same way we hustle and grind now but rather for His glory, he adds.
