Don’t Waste Your Life Wraps in Atlanta

Featuring a powerful lineup of multi-award nominated Rap artists, the “Don’t Waste Your Life Tour” traveled this summer with Dove Award nominee Lecrae, GRAMMY Award nominee FLAME, Stellar Award nominee Trip Lee, Sho Baraka, and Tedashii. Visiting 25-plus cities, the tour’s finale will take place in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center, at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29. Tickets are $5 in advanced and $7 at the door. (Rapzilla note: coming soon an aftershow interview about DWYL from Minneapolis)

Kicking off on May 29 in Memphis, the tour made stops in New York, Detroit and Miami, among other cities, as well as the largest Christian festivals, Creation Fest East (PA) and West (WA). Performing before sold-out crowds, the tour saw over 40,000 people capturing their hearts for a night during the cinematic production.

Inspired by the top-selling book “Don’t Waste Your Life” authored by John Piper, pastor for preaching at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Reach Records and Piper’s Desiring God Ministries have partnered to present the “Don’t Waste Your Life” message through music and a message on the nationwide tour.

Last year, Reach Records’ “Unashamed Tour” jump started a widespread movement gathering and encouraging audiences in more than 20 U.S. cities, London, and Somerset, UK who were not ashamed of the gospel. This summer, the artists stood behind the mission to plead and challenge this generation and concertgoers not to waste their life, but to live passionately for Jesus Christ.

Relocating the Reach Records and ReachLife Headquarters from Memphis to Atlanta, the final tour stop also celebrates the partnership between the leading Christian Rap label, Reach Records, with a new church plant in Atlanta called Blueprint Church.
