Eternal Sonshine is a 6 track EP from California rap artist Tha GIM (pronounced; the Jim). Notice the "O" in "Sonshine", as in the eternal glory of the son Jesus, for this project is definitely a hard hitting, Christ centered opus from the heart  and soul of the emcee called "the God In Me", producing a nice hand full of  quality music for the summer.

Dubbed as a "prequel" to the yet recorded Eternal Sonshine full length album, this current EP plays as a tasteful appetizer and a solid mark of things to come.

Production is mainly supplied by fellow California producer and familiar collaborator "Centric" ("Freedom Song"), while the projects lead single "Game Over" is handled by new comer "K.P.", also from Tha GIM’s home town of  Fresno, California.

In unorthodox fashion Tha GIM will be releasing "Eternal Sonshine" as a free digital download via thagim.com and myspace.com/thagim along with supporting digital stores, leaving the option for donations of support via pay pal. Physical orders will be handled by cdbaby.com. "This EP isn’t a traditional release, I’m trying something new in an effort to expose more people to the message in my heart and my brand of music, as well as build on my support. So while financial support is encouraged for this album, it’s important to me that people be blessed by it and support in other ways if they don't have the financial means. My hope is that it spreads throughout the fans, street youth and church youth without a thought", says Tha GIM, "and this is not throw away music, this is a powerful project!".

Eternal Sonshine drops 7/21/09. Mark your calendar and spread the word.

Tha GIM's 2008 nationwide release "This Iz My Life" (Threatt Muzik/ Infinity) is available now at a Christian store near you or iTunes.
