‘Rapping for God’ a film featuring MOBO award winner Jahaziel

A short film starring UK Premier Christian Rapper and MOBO Award winner Jahaziel – will be released December 13th 2008. In an industry obsessed with image and sales, can someone really be rapping for God?

Rapping for God is a fly on the wall documentary, closely observing the life of Jahaziel Elliott. Revealing what inspires his rhymes and his spiritual journey with Jesus Christ.

This is a powerful and beautifully shot film showing the realities of one man’s life and mandate to be used by God within the community and the church.

Directed by Andy Mundy Castle who has made programmes which have been shown on BBC and Channel 4. Rapping for God will be shown on Current TV – Sky TV channel 183, Virgin 155 and Current TV US. You can also watch it online on www.current.com.

Jahaziel is Europe’s premier Christian rapper. His debut album Ready to Live has been widely received and is one of the best selling albums in it’s genre.

Jahaziel has finished filming his first music video set for release in December 2008.
