Sam Ock releases album ‘Grey’

Maryland-based rapper Sam Ock released Grey, his second solo album, on Friday.

The 11-track project features only one other artist, after Ock released a collaborative album with John Rhee titled Laus Deo in October.

While Ock has shared stages with Trip Lee, Flame and KJ-52, the Korean artist has also made noise overseas. He’s performed at the Grand Mint Festival, Korea’s largest music festival, and been featured by several prominent Korean publications. In Japan, he has sat at No. 1 on iTunes’ hip-hop chart.

Some of his greatest accomplishments include winning the 2012 Creation Fest Northeast Indie Stage competition and his music video for the song “Never Change” accumulating over one million views.
