Reach Records deactivates ReachLife, shifts support to local school

ReachLife, the longtime non-profit arm of Reach Records, announced on Friday that it would become inactive next month indefinitely.

“As many of you may know, Reach Records birthed ReachLife as a ministry to reach the urban context past the music and concerts,” Reach CEO Ben Washer said in an email to donors. “With ReachLife becoming inactive, Reach Records will begin to focus its efforts in supporting a local school in Atlanta called Peace Preparatory Academy.”

Peace Preparatory Academy is a Christian school that utilizes Expeditionary Learning. Reach featured the founding principal, Benjamin Wills, in its 116 Life blog in December.
