S.O. reveals release date and cover of upcoming album ‘So It Ends’

Lamp Mode Recordings announced details about S.O.’s next album, So It Ends, on Monday.

The release date for the project is Oct. 16, and its cover art is above.

“The artwork perfectly embodies S.O.’s roots as an artist, with the brightly colored tapestry reflecting his Nigerian heritage,” Lamp Mode said in a press release. “The silhouette of his picture in a frame characterizes the introspection, deep thought and emotion found in his music.”

Lamp Mode also released a promo video alongside the announcement, in which S.O. takes listeners back to the previous parts of his LP trilogy, So It Begins and So It Continues, the latter of which he dropped in Nov. 2012. Pre-orders for So It Ends begin on Sept. 24.

So It Ends will give the listener the reality of his life pointing to, and anchored in, the hope of his life; Jesus,” the press release said. “As always, you can expect the musical gifting of G.P. to provide the production for this project establishing the perfect stage for the conclusion of this trilogy.”
