The Cross Movement to perform reunion concert

At Legacy Conference 2016 in Chicago, members of the legendary Christian rap group The Cross Movement will perform together for the first time since 2008 and be presented with Legacy’s Lifetime Award.

“The Legacy Conference is excited to honor the legacy of Cross Movement as being pioneers who blended theology with hip hop… They left their mark on the urban culture which continues strong today,” Legacy said in a press release.

The Cross Movement released six influential studio albums between 1997-2007. The Philadelphia-based group’s label, Cross Movement Records, released the debut albums of Lecrae, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., FLAME, Courtney Orlando and Swift.

Thursday, July 21:

  • 1 p.m. CT – Cross Movement reunion concert
  • 6:30 p.m. CT – Legacy Lifetime Award presentation
  • 9 p.m. CT – Special performance in the Wade-O Radio Mix Show
