Toronto-based label Role Model Records has announced details about a new project featuring its artist roster, which is made up of Shopé, Dru Bex and Juliet Oh.
The project is a six-track EP titled The Future Looks Bright and releases on Aug. 26.
“Topically, The Future Looks Bright is also a very timely body of work,” Sola O., CEO of Role Model Records, said. “Recently, I’ve witnessed many troubling things in the body of Christ. Some have deserted Christianity in pursuit of worldly passions, and in so doing, have thrown others into confusion about their own faith. There are questions about how Christians should respond to and engage with social injustices. And then, there are the everyday Christians who are simply wondering how to consistently live out their faith in a God-honoring way.
“These are just some of our concerns and are topics that shouldn’t be ignored. So at Role Model, we don’t intend to. The Future Looks Bright is meant to serve as an encouragement and reminder of the sure testimony we hold. The Christian race seems like a struggle at times, but to those who persevere, the grace of God will sustain.”
The Future Looks Bright is engineered by DJ Lagit and executive produced by Quinten Coblentz (fka Q-pon) and Sola.
