Hip-Hop artist Ty Brasel capped off his excellent year with huge news! He signed his first record deal.
“4 years ago from today l dropped out of college to pursue my passion for music. Today l announce that I’ve signed my first record deal w/ IVAV, (hip hop division of CurbRecords) l look forward to the future, & l can’t wait to share this new music with you,” shared Brasel on social media.
Now labelmate, Steven Malcolm, welcomed Brasel with the following video on Instagram. Both were also Rapzilla Freshmen together in 2016
The 4Against5 Instagram account posted the same video but with this message – “We are honored to announce @ty_brasel AKA “Young Ty Man Was Destined For Greatness The Evangelist” as the next artist on the #ivav roster. Join us in celebrating and welcoming Ty!”
Brasel already released a full-length this year, Young T, so in 2018 we can assume his label debut is on the way. Not bad for an artist who recently told Rapzilla that he almost quit rapping this year.
