Since 2007, The Legacy has equipped disciples of Christ to make disciples for Christ through its annual conference, where attendees receive in-depth teaching in general sessions and workshops.
On March 2-3, The Legacy will hold its second annual Legacy LA conference at Biola University. In addition to teaching, the conference will host a concert on Friday night featuring Derek Minor, Beautiful Eulogy, and Dee-1.
Braille and Odd Thomas of Beautiful Eulogy will double as teachers and lead workshops titled “Prioritizing the Local Church” and “Doing Gospel Ministry In A Post-Modern Secular Age,” respectively, while Dee-1 will also run a workshop titled “How to Find and Use Your Slingshot to Defeat Goliaths.”
The theme of Legacy LA 2018 is Devoted to Fellowship. Other ministers at the event will include D.A. Horton, Elicia Horton, Ben Shin, Alex Montoya, and Ray Causly, among others.
The Legacy unites diverse ministers to teach young, urban adults how to disciple holistically through life-on-life relationships. Workshop topics range from disciple-making to biblical manhood and womanhood, evangelism, community impact, and doctrine.
