In the wake of the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary shooting last December in Newtown, Conn., the debate over gun control is perhaps more heated than ever.

Some blame assault weapons or violent content in video games for the violence in our culture.

But others, like Gangsta Rap turned Christian rap artist Travis Tyler, also known as Thi'sl, argue more gun restrictions are not the answer.

Thi'sl, who knows about gun violence firsthand, argues that stricter gun laws won't stop criminals from getting guns.
