Lamp Mode Announces the New Hazakim Album ‘Son of Man’

Lamp Mode Recordings is proud to announce that the wait is finally over! The return is upon us all! Well…not that return.

Hazakim’s new album, Son of Man, the five year follow up to Theophanies will be released on September 23rd, 2014 on the Eve of Trumpets. With an album focusing on the return of Christ and yearning for the great return–the return of the King of glory–Hazakim thought the Eve of Trumpets was a great time to drop the project. In the words of Tony of Hazakim:

“Our eschatology is greatly influenced by the Feasts of the Lord. Jesus literally died ON Passover according to the Gospels – as the Lamb of God… He literally rose ON First Fruits (the first Sunday after Passover) – as the First Fruits from the Dead… The Spirit was given ON Shavu’ot (Pentecost) – the day that the Law was given to Moses – the Spirit was given to help us keep it. This album is largely ABOUT the second coming of Jesus when the trumpet of God will sound, the dead will arise and we who are alive will be caught up (1 Thess. 4:16-17)!!! TRUMPETS!!!”

With a wide range of features from J. Williams to Jai, and everything from reggae hooks to a chorus in hebrew (that’s right…hebrew!) this album has an original sound with a classic message. Join us September 23rd as we think on the “Son of Man” with the artistic help of Hazakim. Join us as we yearn for His return!
