Marz Ferrer reaches semifinals in Mountain Dew talent search

Mountain Dew’s panel of judges have chosen New York-based singer Marz Ferrer’s song “Blur” as a semifinalist in its Green Label Studios Open Call content.

Green Label Sound, Mountain Dew’s in-house record label, is offering a grand prize of $50,000 to produce an album, a trip to perform at SXSW 2015, remix advice from the Remix Artist Collective, a music video and SoundCloud promotion. Four equally-weighted categories will be used to decide the winner — original and creativity, musical skill and talent, overall appeal and fan vote.
