South Florida-based duo Martymar and FERN of Social Club will follow-up their album Misfits 2, which peaked at No. 59 on the Billboard 200, with their third retail project, US, on March 24.
“This project really displays the freedom we found in embracing who God has called us to be as misfits,” Social Club said. “The sound is ridiculous, but I mean, do you expect anything else from us?”
In the fourth quarter of 2014, Marty and FERN released a mini-documentary (FERN’S story), two charting singles (“Waiting” featuring Chris Batson and “Benjamin Trillington”) and collaborations with award-winning rappers Derek Minor (“Party People”) and Andy Mineo (“Paisano’s Wylin'”), toured the nation and developed a game app.
