Christian Hip Hop label Reach Records will be bringing the Unashamed Tour to the UK from 5th – 11th August 2008.  The tour, which is currently touring venues across the USA, will see four of the labels acts – LeCrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii and Sho Baraka performing live appearances in venues across the UK including Birmingham, London, Manchester and the Soul Survivor summer event.

Bushwick Bill, long recognized for his classic work with the Geto Boys, is slated to return with what many of his fans will consider to be his most shocking album to date.  This musical chapter of Bushwick's life will see him send his "Chucky" AKA "Chuckwick" persona to his final resting place. Fadacy artist Applejaxx is set to release the Databass mixtape on July 15, 2008. In this Databass episode Applejaxx is locked in to implant the message of Christ into the system.  This release features Jekob of the Washington Projects, Gibraan, and more, as well as production from Tonex, Nelly B, and Battle Axe.  Databass will be released digitally to major online stores (itunes, Amazon, etc.) with digital download cards and physical CD’s available at the Fadacy website. Databass is a prelude to Applejaxx’s full-length project Born Identity.

EA Sports selected Braille's song "The IV" to use in the trailer for their video game "NBA Live 09" coming out this fall.  The trailer showcases the athlete who will be featured on the cover of the game, Tony Parker from the San Antonio Spurs.  The song comes from Braille's forth solo record "The IV Edition" available now on Syntax/Koch.  The video game placement adds another highlight to what has already been an incredible summer for Braille.  After his record dropped on April 15th he received great reviews from The Source, Okayplayer.com, Rapreviews.com, Sphereofhiphop.com and many more.  He also did a 3 month U.S. tour which included album release parties with Pigeon John, The Paid Dues festival in Denver with De La Soul and performances on Vans Warped Tour with Othello.  The trailer for NBA Live 09 can be viewed on Youtube at the follow link - http://youtube.com/watch?v=YlXG5Ic8n7c

The Christian Female Rap Network (CFRN), in cooperation with DJ I Rock Jesus, have set the date of August 15th to release an all female rap mixtape to encourage and empower listeners in living a life that is pleasing to God. The collaboration includes honest testimonies, authentic beats and snippets of tracks straight off the network's soon to be released, 'The CFRN Experience' project.

On June 20 and 21, Houston was home to the rarest voices in conscious rap and hip-hop culture as the red carpet rolled out for the All Eyes On Me (AEOM) Achievement Awards. Held at Copperfield Church, the newly revamped awards show saluted Syntax Records with top honors.
Formerly focusing on Texas, the AEOM Achievement Awards took a national spin this year, bringing artists together from New York to California in the name of hip-hop. This year, AEOM gave Syntax Records the mantle of "Pioneer Classic Record Label".

In a world where many teens know every word of a Soulja Boy or Lil Wayne song but can't remember the Ten Commandments or recite the Lord's Prayer, pastors and youth ministers across the nation are in a battle to bring their youths to Christ.

"Young people aren't going to stop listening to hip-hop," said Samad Bilal founder of New Generations Christian Conference, which stopped by Paradise Cathedral in Roanoke on Saturday.

The all-day conference focuses on bringing the word of God to young people who are influenced by today's hip-hop culture.
