In a dual ceremony before an intimate group of close family, friends, labelmates and industry supporters, Marcus Gray, also known as Cross Movement Records' recording artist FLAME, wed his best friend and longtime girlfriend, Crystal Singh, in his hometown of St Louis, MO.
Todd Smith, aka Te'Luvv, doesn't fit the rapper mold. The only gold he wears is a wedding ring. He doesn't curse, drink or claim to have emerged from thug life. "The bottom line for me is that it's ministry," he said. "I decrease myself so God can look bigger and better."
Te'Luvv (pronounced Tay-Love) is a 28-year-old Christian rapper who recently moved to Memphis, and just released his fourth CD, "The World is Not Enough." Each track is a poetic sermon delivered through a rap beat.
Underground Blaze records is proud to present Joe Justiz. The Miami native brings to the scene his first national project release entitled “The Surrender”. The Surrender is packed with great production that includes production by Grammy Nominated Producer Pettidee (Grits, CSG’Z), along side with well know producers like Tony Stone (Cross Movement, Braille & KJ-52), GStyles (Trip Lee, R-Swift & Lecrae) and Son of Mack (Willie Will, & G-Notes).
This is probably old news, but CMR didn't send us a press release about it and we missed the news since it was the same time that Phil (who runs things at Rapzilla) went to Africa (on a missions trip) for 2 months.
Before you read the news release, this band actually will just re-release the album through CMR (just like Lecrae Real Talk). So you can buy the album right now on CD Baby instead of waiting for September! Isn't that sweet?
aTone (formely known as re:son) is preparing to release Visible Sprightliness EP on July 15. Visible Sprightliness is the first of a three series EP with 7 tracks each. Each release will focus on relevant issues ranging from life issues to relationships, faith and the highs and lows we all encounter.
Tony Stone, the Christian Hip Hop producer, will release his first solo album "The Creation" August 5th 2008 exclusively in Japan. He doesn't have any solid plans yet for releasing it outside of Japan. The Japanese version only has features from 2 artists, Braille and Verses, this may change for the international version.
Mista & Mrs. Taylor (the Christian Hip Hop husband and wife duo) has just released their latest installment entitled "Set the Atmosphere". Picking up from where they left off with their 4th Man Records release "Love, Joy & Pain" the Taylor's are back still pounding the pavement with the Gospel through the vehicle of music. "Set the Atmosphere" was birthed from the desire to worship God, bring hope to the lost and revelation to the believer.
