Da' T.R.U.T.H. has enlisted Grammy Award winning producer J.R. to produce his 7th studio release, titled 'Heartbeat'.
"I originally planned to step away from music until 2015 to focus on Mixed Bag Entertainment, but after almost a year of watching & observing the culture, I realized that I had a few more things that I wanted to share. What started as a 3-5 song EP, became a full length album. This record is fun – it's experimental, gritty and engaging, and having my longtime friend help me to shape the project makes it that much more enjoyable," shares Da' T.R.U.T.H.

Lecrae continued his journey into increased mainstream exposure yesterday with a special feature in the Huffington Post. The article, "When Hip Hop Lets the Saints In
", was a special "behind the curtains" look at the expansion of Lecrae's ministry and brand. While numerous mini-biographies have been written on Christian Hip Hop's most recognizable name, writer Jon Ward chose to focus on the uncharted waters that the Reach Records artist continually wades through. The article also uses Lecrae as an indicator of a growing shift in evangelicalism away from the roots of traditionalism. While Lecrae has not been the first and certainly won't be the last public figure to answer questions about compromise and faithfulness, it's clear that a spotlight has been placed on his decisions. As he reveals in the story, "It's such an uphill battle."
