After winning his second Grammy Award on Sunday, Lecrae returned to ESPN’s “SportsNation” for the show’s hashtag segment.
A sports story that Lecrae needed to hashtag was about Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice admitting that he used Stickum on his gloves (a banned substance that does what its name suggests to the hands or gloves of a receiver). After telling his own story about eating at his favorite Chinese restaurant, this is the hashtag he found most appropriate.

The next news that Lecrae had to hashtag was about Sunday’s Grammys. After Beck won Album of the Year over Beyoncé, Kanye West walked toward the stage like he would grab the mic, just as he did from Taylor Swift at the VMAs in 2009. West was bluffing and turned around to walk back to his seat, but afterward, he dissed Beck in an interview with E!, saying “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé.”
This is what Lecrae had to say/hashtag in response to the controversy.
